Primary Series is a series of poses linked with movement on breath called vinyasa (put together in a special way.)
By linking movement to breathe you build purifying heat in your body (tapas).
Sweat and focus are followed by calm and clarity. The focus built during class will help calm the mind and stabilize the nervous system. Also, it’s a great workout.
All are welcome. Some yoga experience is good. Bring a towel. It gets hot in there 🙂

Conference: this week is on the vagus nerve. This set of nerves is responsible for most of our involuntary functions and is stimulated by intentional and relaxed diaphragmatic breathing. In conference we will learn about the Ashtanga system and primary series in particular’s effect on its operations.
